Zach is interested in studying nucleic-acid and protein sequencing, single-molecule enzymology, and single-molecule thermodynamics using nanopore tweezers. As an undergraduate, he worked with DNA origami to develop novel methods for studying biomolecular interactions. He has a B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
