Bioengineering

My work is focused on a number of areas, all related to systems at the molecular level. These include 1) Predictive models of disease, and microbial systems (particularly metabolism). 2) As director of a NIH reproducibility center we develop best practices for computational modeling focusing on reproducibility and model credibility; 3) Using control theory to understanding the operational logic of control in metabolic and signaling networks.
